Woolfardisworthy Parish Council is committed to providing financial assistance towards projects, community organisations and local groups for the specific purpose of improving the wellbeing of the local community.

GRANTS APPROVED

Community Groups within the Parish benefitted from a grant from the Parish Council for the financial year 2024/25, these include:

Bucks Cross Village Hall, Woolsery Youth Group, All Hallows Church, Friends of Woolsery School, Woolsery Primary School, The Good Companions, Woolsery Scout Group, Project Linus UK.

The Parish Council also supported the services of Torridge, North, Mid & West Devon Citizens Advice Bureau, Torridge Voluntary Cars and the South West Heritage Trust.

The next deadline for applications is 30 September 2024.

​

Organisations who wish to apply for a grant should send a letter of request together with a copy of the latest set of accounts to the Parish Clerk, to comply with the criteria laid down for Parish Councils to follow.

The requests will be considered at the November Parish Council meeting when the 2025/26 budget will be set.
